Search for missing teen in Brooklyn

Police are asking for help finding Laquana Lawton, a 13-year-old girl from Brooklyn.

She was last seen on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at approximately 1 a.m. leaving 131 Belmont Avenue in Brooklyn.

Lawton is 5'4" and weighs 180 lbs. She was wearing a black sundress, and sandals. Lawton is also in good physical condition.

Her family says she has been diagnosed with a bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. She has not been on her daily medications since July 1st.
