RIKERS ISLAND (WABC) -- Fire crews spent Sunday night battling flames on Rikers Island.
The two-alarm fire started just after 8 p.m. Sunday at the George Motchan Detention Center.
Everyone was evacuated and no one was hurt.
Officials say 200 beds were destroyed in the fire.
All of the inmates are now being relocated to another prison on Rikers Island.
