E. Harlem armed robbery caught on camera

EAST HARLEM (WABC) -- Police are searching for an armed robber who held up a deli in East Harlem.

The entire robbery was caught on camera.

It happened on Tuesday, August 10th at around 5 p.m.

Detectives say the suspect walked into the Gourmet Deli on 2nd Avenue, pulled out a black pistol and demanded money from the cashier.

The man reached over the counter, grabbed a handful of money, and walked out the store.

Suspect is described as a black man, 37 to 41 years old, 200-210lbs, dark skin, bald, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, black wind breaker and white sneakers.
