NEW YORK (WABC) -- The name of a man killed in the September 11th attacks is misspelled on the memorial at the World Trade Center site.
Jeffrey Schreier's name is misspelled on the panel listing the victims of the attack.
Family members of the Cantor Fitzgerald employee were astonished to discover the error when they visited the site on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the memorial apologized for the mistake and says it will be quickly corrected. Apparently, the R and the second E in his were reversed when his name was entered into a database.
The memorial opened to the general public Monday.
