LOWER MANHATTAN (WABC) -- A mini-spree of bank robberies in Manhattan is over.
Police arrested 29-year-old Charles Burnett outside the Sovereign Bank at 2 Gold Street in Lower Manhattan Wednesday.
Burnett, from Teaneck, New Jersey, allegedly first robbed the bank on Monday morning, then again on Tuesday morning.
Surveillance photos were released Tuesday afternoon.
Officers reportedly recognized Burnett after the third robbery.
