$5,000 reward offered in correction officer shooting

New York City correction officers are now offering a $5,000 reward after the shooting of an off-duty officer in Queens.

The female officer was shot several times outside of the USA Diner in Rosedale.

The officer is hospitalized in stable condition after extensive surgery.

The Correction Officers' Benevolent Association is offering the reward for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone wishing to participate can call the COBA at 212-274-8000.
