Search for armed robber in Corona

Police in Queens are searching for an armed robber who held up a bodega in Corona.

It happened on Sunday, February 26, at 7:20 a.m. inside the bodega at 107-24 Corona Avenue.

Police say the suspect went inside the shop, approached the store clerk, took out a silver revolver and demanded money.

The robber got away on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, age 25-35 years old, 5'6"-5'8" tall, with brown eyes. He was wearing a gray baseball cap, blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and tan work boots.
