NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are still searching for the person who abandoned an infant in a Brooklyn building.
The 3-month-old boy was found strapped to his car seat in the lobby of an apartment building in Sunset Park on Saturday.
Police say a diaper bag and formula had been placed beside him.
The baby was examined at Lutheran Hospital and determined to be healthy.
A woman putting out her garbage found the baby.
The child was found with a black diaper bag that had diapers, formula, and a blanket.
Police responded to a 9-1-1 call of a found baby, and discovered the boy at the scene.
Police are asking anyone with information in regards to the identity of the baby to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
