Danielle Rapin doesn't just love her dog Baci, she loves pretty much all dogs. So much so, that she hosts other dogs in her Brooklyn apartment.

She provides those services through, a website that gives dog owners an alternative to boarding or relying on family and friends.

Karine Nissim-Hirschhorn started the company with her husband Aaron. First in Los Angeles, and now it's nationwide, with hundreds of dog lovers signing up to host.

The hosts set their own price. Danielle charges $30 a day. That includes walks and plenty of playtime. And since she works from home, there's constant supervision. The extra income is great for her. Some hosts are motivated by other reasons.

You can even arrange a meet-and-great before you select a vacation spot for your dog. It's peace of mind for the dog owner.
