NEW YORK (WABC) -- A disturbing report has been released about an assistant principal in Brooklyn, who is accused of making inappropriate sexual remarks to three young girls when they met with him separately for advice about summer jobs.
Students were finishing exams and leaving Progress High School, one of three on the Brooklyn campus.
They learned that William Abreu, an assistant principal, is accused of making inappropriate comments to three 15-year-old students.
According to Richard Condon, the Special Commissioner of Investigation for city schools, the three girls thought they were being interviewed for summer jobs.
Each one of the girls said they met with Abreu in his office and behind closed doors.
"And then he started asking about her sex life," Condon said. "And then he asked about the sex she had engaged with her boyfriend."
According to the findings of the investigation, Abreu told one student that he treats employees like "second wives."
That student responded, "Why are you asking me this?" Abreu allegedly replied, "That's the way it is. That's the way I want my wife to be."
The two other students, investigators say, encountered similar questions.
The second student told investigators she was "upset and shocked" after she said Abreu told her that she was going to be his "second wife" and that she "will come in looking real pretty."
Abreu, investigators say, maintained that the allegations are untrue.
"He maintained that the girls may have been doing this because he was a strict diciplinarian at the school," Condon said.
School aid Arelis Candelario is also accused of lying to and misleading investigators about her involvement in sending the students to Abreu.
