BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Funeral services were held in Brooklyn Saturday for the woman who was shot by police during a confrontation.
Shantel Davis, 23, was killed by a police detective in Brooklyn.
Police say she was driving erratically through East Flatbush when she crashed into a minivan.
One of the officer's guns went off as they tried to pull her out of the vehicle.
Davis was driving a car police say she had carjacked.
Her family and community activists say they killed an unarmed woman.
Davis was awaiting trial on charges that she was part of a gang that killed a man during a break-in last year.
