Teen accused of drunk driving in fatal crash

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A 22- year-old man is dead and a teenager has been charged with drunk driving after an accident in the Bronx late Monday.

Police say Chad Bennett, 18, lost control of the vehicle while traveling on Webster Avenue in Woodlawn.

The backseat passenger, identified as Kevin Lee, died after the car crashed into a parked van.

Both Bennett and another male passenger, age 23, were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Bennett has been charged with DWI, reckless endangerment, criminally negligent homicide and released offenses.
