NYPD releases sketch of sex assault suspect

Police in Manhattan are asking for the public's help finding a sexual assault suspect.

The NYPD released a sketch of the man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on the roof of a building on the Lower East Side just before 3 a.m. last Friday.

He is described as a Hispanic man between 20 to 25 years old and about 5-foot-5.

Police say the woman entered the building and proceeded to the rooftop with the suspect. He then assaulted her and fled the location in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
