NEW YORK (WABC) -- A teenager was injured after a police officer shot at a dog unleashed on him in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn.
The 17-year-old boy was struck in the leg after the officer fired shots at the charging dog on Himrod Street just after 11:00 this morning.

THe condition of the dog was not immediately known.
