Like shirtless firefighters? 2013 FDNY calendar on sale

NEW YORK -- The official FDNY 2013 calendar featuring 13 shirtless firefighters showing off their chiseled abs is going on sale Monday.

The $15.95 Calendar of Heroes is produced annually to raise money for fire prevention programs.

Firefighter Darius Dorsett of Queens is featured on the cover. The 26-year-old is assigned to Engine 260 in Long Island City, Queens.

He appears on the cover posing in an open flame-resistant fireman's jacket and helmet in front of a fire house.

He told the Daily News that he plans to train for the New York City marathon. He says he works out four or five times a week doing calisthenics at a local park.

The calendars can be purchased online at FDNYFireZone.org or FDNYFoundation.org .
