Van crashes into scaffolding, bursts into flames

A minivan went up onto the sidewalk, and struck scaffolding causing it to collapse. It happened on West 38th Street and 10th Avenue.

A minivan went up onto the sidewalk, and struck scaffolding causing it to collapse.

It happened on West 38th Street and 10th Avenue.

The driver was able to remove himself from the vehicle. He was checked out by EMS at the scene, but did not go to the hospital.

Shortly after the accident, the van somehow caught on fire. The fire department responded and put the fire out. No one was injured.
