WEEKSVILLE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police in Brooklyn came across some exotic animals as part of an investigation.
It happened Friday at the Weeksville Houses in Weeksville around 1:30 p.m.
Animal Care and Control confiscated 6 snakes (1 boa constrictor, 5 pythons), 2 bearded dragons, 2 alligators, 1 gecko, 1 scorpion, and 1 tarantula.
Police were intitially at the apartment investigating a tip they received about some possible illegal activity going on inside, and did not expect the animals to be there.
All of the animals are said to be doing well over at Animal Care and Control.
No arrests have been made.
