Video released of brazen daylight jewelry store robbery

The NYPD has released video of a daylight jewelry store robbery in Manhattan.

The incident happened just after 3 p.m. last Friday.

The surveillance video shows the man police say walked into Madison Jewelers in Midtown, threatened the clerk with a gun and demanded Rolex watches.

Police say a second man then walked in and sprayed the clerk and owner with pepper spray.

Both men then ran out with the watches, which are valued at $36,000.
