Woman's body found after husband reports her missing

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A 39-year-old Queens woman was found fatally stabbed in a neighbor's apartment after her husband called 911 to report her missing.

Karla Shah Boguwalski was found with multiple stab wounds to the neck.

Her body was discovered in the neighbor's apartment in the Rockaways just after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Boguwalski's husband had earlier called 911 to report her missing. He was questioned by detectives but no charges were immediately filed.

The victim was found in the bathroom. Detectives also found a trail of blood from the hallway to the bathroom, leaving them to think the body was dragged from another location.
