NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are looking for a thief who has been stealing smart phones from subway riders.
Authorities say the man, see on surveillance video wearing a bright pink puffy jacket, stole an iPad and four cell phones from riders over the last four weeks in Brooklyn and Queens.
In one case, the robber punched his victim in the face as he swiped her phone.
The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 30, standing approximately 6-foot-1 and weighing 180 to 190 pounds.
Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
