Wednesday, April 03, 2013

Police have made an arrest in the sex assault of a female jogger in a Queens park.

42-year-old Richard Kassebaum has been charged with Attempted predatory Sexual Assault, Attempted Rape and Sex Abuse.

Last Friday night, investigators say Kassebaum used a stun gun to subdue a 23-year-old woman who was jogging inside Forest Hills Park.

He allegedly approached her from behind, put the stun gun to the back of her neck, and sexually assaulted her. He also stole her cell phone.

The victim was able to fight off her attacker. She was rushed to the hospital for injuries to her neck.
