Video released of Bronx armed robber posing as cop

Police are searching for an armed robber who was caught on camera in the Bronx posing as a law enforcement officer.

Authorities say the suspect entered a bodega in the Concourse Village section around 8:30 a.m. on March 21, waving a gun and wearing a shield around his neck.

He ordered the customers to the back of the store, then demanded the clerk to hand over money before he fled the scene.

He is described as a Hispanic man, 35 to 40 years old, standing approximately 5-foot-7 and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat and green sweater with a shield displayed around his neck.
