Police search for serial bank robber in Manhattan

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are searching for a serial robber who's targeted a string of banks in Manhattan.

Police are searching for Andre Calix in connection with at least six robberies in Midtown since last month.

In the first five incidents it's not clear if he had a weapon.

In the sixth robbery the suspect showed a gun.

He demanded money and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
