Video released of suspect in Bronx sex assault

Tuesday, July 23, 2013

Police in the Bronx are hoping the public can help catch a sexual predator, and they've released surveillance video that could lead to an arrest.

The suspect has been on the loose since attacking a 63-year-old woman in Soundview section just after 5 a.m. on June 30.

Investigators say the man grabbed the 63-year-old victim from behind, threw her to the ground then assaulted her before running off.

The suspect is a black male in his 20s, standing approximately 6-feet tall and weighing 160 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
