Investigators have released new photos of the man they believe robbed an armored car in Brooklyn Thursday morning.

The car was robbed of $500,000 during a brazen carjacking in Canarsie.

One masked suspect pointed a gun at the driver of the armored car while parked outside a Rockaway Parkway store at about 11:20 a.m.

He ordered the driver to take him Linden Boulevard, where he ran off with the $500,000, police say.

The driver was not hurt.

The gunman, who did not fire any shots, was not caught.

The suspect is described as a male black in his 20s. short in height, wearing all black with a mask covering half of his face. He fled east on Linden Boulevard on foot. He was carrying a bag of a lot of money.

The FBI is investigating whether there is a link to a similar robbery in the Bronx two years ago.
