Burglar breaks in, robs school in Marine Park

Police are searching for the burglar who stole money from a Catholic school in Brooklyn.

The burglary happened Sept. 25th at St. Columba School on Kimball Street in Marine Park.

Investigators say the suspect entered the school through an open door at about 6:30 p.m. and took about $125 from a cabinet.

He tried different doors, until he found that was unlocked.

The school was closed at the time, and no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white male, 17-22 years old, last seen wearing blue jeans and a black t- shirt with red and blue writing on it.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
