Connecticut State police say they are investigating after a flight attendant found white powder on a plane that landed at Bradley International Airport.

Airport spokesman John Wallace said the powder was found in a bathroom of the JetBlue plane shortly before it was scheduled to land Monday night at the airport north of Hartford.

Wallace said JetBlue Flight 460 landed safely and passengers were allowed to deplane. No injuries were reported.

Samples of the white powder were taken for testing.

Wallace said the discovery had no effect on airport operations and did not cause any delays to incoming or outgoing flights.

JetBlue said 135 passengers and five crew members were on board the flight that originated in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
