1 dead, 5 injured in 2-car, bus crash

MONTGOMERY, N.Y. (WABC) -- A multi-vehicle accident killed one person and injured five others in Orange County Wednesday night.

The accident happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Route 17K near Browns Road in the Town of Montgomery.

Montgomery Town Police say a Jeep rear ended a Toyota Corolla, which hit a Coach USA bus that was travelling in the opposite direction.

The 60-year-old driver of the Toyota was killed. Five people on the bus suffered minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
