NEWBURGH -- Authorities say they're investigating allegations that several young boys were repeatedly sexually molested by an older boy during bus rides to and from their Hudson Valley elementary school.
State police tell theTimes Herald-Record of Middletownthat the sex acts were captured on the video camera aboard the bus carrying students in the city of Newburgh School District. A judge has ordered the bus company to secure the videos and for the school district to safeguard them.
The investigation started in June after school officials checked the bus videos when the mother of one of the boys told them her son had been bullied.
The boys involved range in age from 7 to 10. Police say the sexual conduct occurred while they were clustered in the back of the bus.
