NEW YORK (WABC) -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is undergoing emergency surgery Saturday night at a hospital in Jerusalem.
After feeling pain earlier Saturday, Netanyahu was examined by doctors who determined he had an umbilical hernia, and it was decided to operate immediately.
The surgery is supposed to last one hour, most probably under a local anesthetic.
Netanyahu, who's 63, is due to be discharged from the hospital Sunday afternoon.
