QUEENS (WABC) -- As the temperature climbs, chefs are looking for ways to keep you well fed, and keep you cool.
Recipe for Avocado, Lime & Jalapeno Popsicle from Pachanga Patterson
To make a simple syrup, combine one part sugar and one part water in a pot. Bring to a boil and let it sit to cool off. Make sure you select avocados that aren't overly ripe. They should yield slightly to gentle pressure when squeezed. Remove the seeds from the jalapeno Combine the ingredients in a blender until smooth. You can add more simple syrup if the mixture seems too thick. Pour mixture into any popsicle mold Freeze overnight
