Time running out to register to vote in New York City

NEW YORK (WABC) -- If you live in New York and want to vote in November or you want to cast a ballot in next year's mayoral primary, Friday is the last day to register.
To vote in the general elections on November 6th, your application must be postmarked no later than October 12th.
It has to be received by the 17th.
Meanwhile, if you want to change parties or register for the mayoral primary elections, you'll also need to do so by October 12th.
