NEW YORK (WABC) -- If you were caught up in the Mariano Rivera bobblehead fiasco at Yankee Stadium this week, the New York Yankees would like to make it up to you.
The team is offering a free ticket to any regular season game next year, excluding opening day and Old-Timers' Day.
The dolls were promised to the first 18,000 people who showed up at Tuesday's game, but the truck carrying them broke down in New Jersey.
The bobbleheads have been selling since then for more than $100 on eBay.
Rivera always enters late in the game. His bobblehead doll did the same thing.
Fans may redeem their tickets at Yankee Stadium Advance Ticket Windows beginning when 2014 individual-game tickets go on sale to the general public through May 31, 2014. Fans will be able to redeem their September 24, 2013, tickets for select Field Level, Main Level, Terrace Level and Grandstand Level seats.
