News Media Manager
WABC-TV, New York has an immediate opening for a News Media Manager. Responsibilities include: managing media ingest, output and traffic flow for multiple newscasts including digital playback, supervising news editors, news editing, and managing digital servers and archives.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years television news editing experience, and multiple years experience working in a TV newsroom exercising editorial judgment. Must be proficient in non-linear editing techniques, computer literate, comfortable working with Microsoft Office and Windows NT, as well as experience with one or more newsroom systems such as AP ENPS.

This individual must be highly organized and used to working under tight deadlines while working on multiple, overlapping projects. The News Media Manager will work closely with News Producers and Management to ensure the timely and accurate production of newscasts, special reports and special segments. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Must be willing to work any shift and weekends.

Freelance ENG Field News Photographers
WABC-TV New York, is seeking experienced ENG Field News Photographers for freelance employment. Successful candidates will have experience in daily local newsgathering, non-linear editing and one-man live shots. Candidates MUST know how to operate a MW live truck. News ENG Operations Manager
WABC-TV is looking for an experienced major market Operations Manager. This position will manage the Editor, RF, Media Manager and Photographer groups. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in news gathering techniques utilizing new technology. The candidate must understand a file based workflow both in house and in the field. This manager must be able to critique and provide input for shooter techniques and edit operations providing guidance. The position will also require being able to plan and coordinate complex remote broadcasts. Experience working in a represented labor environment is a must.
