OUR COMMITMENT:

Prostate Cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer found in American men, except for skin cancer. But with education and early detection, it is treatable.

That's why for the 10th consecutive year, ABC-7 and our partners teamed up with the New York Road Runners Club to raise awareness about this disease. The program is designed to encourage men to get screened for Prostate Cancer, and to encourage people to join in the 5-mile run in Central Park that raises funds for Prostate Cancer research. At the race, men can receive a PSA test for free!

Together we strive to make Prostate Cancer a thing of the past!

Broadcast: On Sunday, June 21st, 2009, WABC aired special coverage of the event, and a web-only live finish line camera where you can watch friends and family cross the finish line!
