NEW YORK -- For over three decades, WABC-TV has honored amazing tri-state area students, teachers, administrators and programs whose accomplishments went above and beyond the classroom. From creating innovative programs to projects that reach across communities, these honorees have made their contributions count in our world.
This year WABC-TV and its sponsors want to recognize those in our area who are making a big difference in their communities. This may be a student, or a teacher, or an innovative organization delving into areas like the arts, the environment, science and technology, public service or sports. If you believe your school, or a person or non-profit organization fits this description, we encourage you to submit a nomination email telling us why the nominee or program is deserving of WABC-TV's Above and Beyond Award.
To submit a nomination, please read and fill out one of our form(s). There is a form for nominations for individuals, one for schools and one for organizations. The deadline for nominations is March 30, 2012.
Forms:
Please send nomination forms by email using the links above.
Please know that WABC-TV needs to have access to nominees' schools or programs in order to video-tape students and activities in advance for our half-hour special and on-air spots.
Friends, family and our corporate sponsors will celebrate the honorees at a private reception and awards ceremony held in May.
This is a heart-rending campaign that recognizes inspirational individuals and schools in a world where these types of stories can easily go unnoticed. We look forward to your participation and hearing your Above and Beyond stories! Get your nominations in now! Good luck!
