Restored but limited service on Metro North

Metro-North says very limited rail service has been restored between New Haven and South Norwalk.

The commuter line says one of the four tracks in the area has been opened. The tracks were closed this because of downed wires in Bridgeport.

A spokeswoman says that about 6:15 a.m. Thursday a train in Bridgeport got stuck and brought down power lines.

The problem had stopped all train service in both directions. The problem has also limited service between South Norwalk and Stamford.
