BOROUGH PARK (WABC) -- Service on the F subway line has been restored after concrete fell onto a track platform in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn.
Newscopter-7 was live over the scene.
The problem started around 5 a.m. when a 4x8 piece of the platform became loose and collapsed down below at the 18th Avenue station.
The transit authority responded to the scene. They took out the remainder of the loose concrete, while engineers examined the structural integrity of the platform.
After suspensions and early morning disruptions service is back to normal.
