7 train service restored after power outage

Service on the number 7 train has been restored after being suspended for several hours Saturday morning.

Due to a loss of power, service was suspended in both directions from Queensboro Plaza to 42nd Street - Times Square.

The MTA announced the restoration of service shortly after 9:30 a.m.

During the disruption, shuttle buses were made available at Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Blvd - Jackson Ave into Manhattan.
