BRONX (WABC) -- A tractor-trailer carrying beer overturned in the Bronx early Monday, spilling cases of Miller Light and other brands all over the Bruckner Expressway.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes at Whittier Street in the Hunts Point section just after 1 a.m., shutting down part of the highway until just before 7 a.m.
After the truck was uprighted and towed from the scene, sanitation crews worked for hours to clear the road.
A dump truck could be seen scooping up exploded cans spraying beer into the air and dropping them into the back of another truck.
