NEW YORK (WABC) -- When bad weather strikes, the AccuTrack Weather Alert app puts our radar in your hands and alerts you wherever you go!

Another great feature is you can share just about everything to Facebook, Twitter or by email.
On the radar, for instance, just click on the share icon on the lower bar and choose where you want to share so you can alert loved ones when you see bad weather coming!
To the right of the share icon, you will see a "layers" option. Here you can change what you want to see on the radar map.
You can also animate the map by clicking the play button and change other settings by clicking the "I" button.

Click on the menu icon in the upper left to begin the process of setting up severe weather alerts that you want for wherever you go - with the voices of Eyewitness News AccuWeather meteorologists Lee Goldberg and Bill Evans.
The app follows you wherever you go, plus you can set up 4 additional locations so you can monitor conditions at home, work or a destination. Just open the menu in the top left-hand corner and then click on manage locations.
Scroll down to settings and then click on notifications to set up the alerts that you want to receive, including text alerts and voice alerts.
Get back to the home screen by clicking on a location.
In addition to radar, the home screen includes current conditions for your location, the 7-day forecast and hourly forecast. Just click on the tab that you want to see.
If there's an alert, you will see an icon in the upper right-hand corner. Just click on the icon to bring up the alert.
