Joel Feick

Joel Feick
Joel is the anchor of ABC12 News at 6 & 11 (weekends), and has been a member of the ABC12 family for more than 25 years.

Before coming to ABC12 in 1983, Joel originated the news department at WERC-AM, was a reporter at WCWA-AM in Toledo and a reporter/anchor at WDHO-TV, Toledo.

He's also had the opportunity to travel to China with the mayor of Flint, interview United States presidents, and he launched the "HomeWork" concept at ABC12.

Joel holds a B.A. in Broadcast Communications from the University of Toledo and has earned multiple AP, UPI and Emmy nominations. He won an Emmy award in 2000 for a series of live reports which showed viewers innovative ways to insulate their homes.

A member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Joel serves on the board of the Wish Fund of Flint. He also serves as the Chairman of ABC12's United Way campaign for station employees.

When he's not busy at home, in the community or at ABC12, Joel teaches radio broadcasting at Mott Community College.

He and his wife, Christine, live in Grand Blanc with their son, Lucas.
