Leslie Toldo

Leslie Toldo is one ABC12's four meteorologists. She anchors the weather during First at Four and is currently ABC12's weekday HealthFirst reporter.

Leslie has been with ABC12 News since July 2004.

Born in Baton Rouge, La., Leslie doesn't mind being away from home. A communications major at the University of Wyoming, Leslie graduated in 1990 and headed out into the world.

She made stops in Jackson, Miss., and Casper, Wy., before landing in Michigan.

Leslie stayed in the Detroit area for seven years, working as weather anchor, general assignment reporter and medical reporter at WKBD-TV from 1995 to 2002.

In 1997, Leslie completed a three-year program with Mississippi State University and received her certification in Broadcast Meteorology.

During her spare time in Detroit, Leslie attended and graduated from the Second City School of Improv in Detroit.

When she's not at ABC12, Leslie enjoys traveling -- especially on a motorcycle -- interior decorating, the outdoors, music, movies and animals.

Leslie lives with her husband, Rick, in Genesee County, where they share their home with their two Labrador retrievers, Otis and Bear and their golden retriever, Daisy.

An active volunteer for the Humane Society of Genesee County, Leslie is a Big Sister to Hanah through Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Genesee County.
