Introducing the new ABC12 Desktop Alert tool. This is the first desktop alert tool in Mid-Michigan that will actually tell you when Severe Weather or Breaking News are developing.

It's a tool designed for all computers connected to the Internet, including dial-up computers. Whether you're in the office, at school, or at home with a Broadband Cable or DSL connection, the new ABC12 Desktop Alert tool will keep you connected to vital information.

Here are the steps to set up your ABC12 Desktop Alert tool.

Close down other programs you may be running on your computer. If you already have our other Desktop Weather Tool, uninstall that before continuing. Check your computer's documentation for instructions.

Download ABC12 Alert Tool by clicking here. Save the file to your desktop.

Once you've finished downloading, go to your desktop and double click on the file named ABC12 DesktopAlerts.exe and follow the prompts to complete the installation. Once you've installed the ABC12 Desktop Alert tool, open it by double clicking the new ABC12 Desktop Alert icon.
