Historic Holly Hotel has haunting good time waiting

HOLLY (WJRT) -- (10/28/09)--If you are looking for something to get you in the Halloween mood, look no further than the Historic Holly Hotel.

Some believe it's haunted. Seances are being held every evening this week through Saturday, which is Halloween night.

The people there call it a week-long journey into the spirit world.

We got to spend some time in the banquet room upstairs. That's where the seances are held. They start at 8 p.m. each night.

There's extra experiences Friday and Saturday night. A "medium" moderates the seance, attempting to contact the spirits in the admittedly haunted Victorian building.

The hotel's owner says the events are well attended and people have a mix of opinions about them.

The seance costs $25 a person and the slots are filling up fast.
