Funeral arrangements being made for two teens

FLINT (WJRT) -- (11/05/09)--Funeral arrangements are being made for two teenagers murdered Tuesday night in Flint.

Rashawn Smith and Jamica Boone -- both 18 years old -- were shot and killed inside of a home on East Sherman Avenue.

Flint police say they are interviewing witnesses and following up on leads.

"She was really a beautiful child," said mother Muriel Boone. "She really was. She was my only daughter. That was my diva."

Boone says she talked to her daughter Jamica on the phone Monday.

Both Boone and Smith were shot in the head. Their bodies were found in different rooms.

Police are continuing to investigate. Smith was a suspect in a 2008 Flint murder. Boone had no criminal history.
