Road crews work on winter

MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) -- (12/08/09)-- Overnight snow, rain and ice have kept road crews busy.

More than 100 schools have closed because of poor driving conditions.

Some accidents have been reported, including a semi accident that tied up I-75 near Bridgeport earlier this morning.

More major roads have been plowed and salted, but some secondary roads may still be snow-covered and icy.

In Genesee County, the road commission is responsible for maintaining 2,000 miles of roads.
