FENTON (WJRT) -- (06/06/09)--Candles were lit in Fenton on Saturday night to remember a missing woman on the week of her birthday.
Her family is still asking tonight, "Where's Randa?"
Randa Jawhari has been missing since February. She was last seen at her Fenton apartment.
Her family members and some friends gathered to celebrate her birthday and remind everyone that they are still praying for her safe return.
Members of the Jawhari family wait for the mail and for phone calls. But after four months, there is no sign of 43-year-old Randa Jawhari. Her birthday was Tuesday.
Her family -- five sisters, a brother, her mom and her dad -- haven't given up hope that Ronda can somehow be found alive. : an actress, author, and artist who was also bi-polar
Perhaps the worst part for the Jawhari family is the lack of closure. Randa -- an actress, author, and artist who was also bi-polar -- went missing without a trace. After extensive media coverage, billboards on local expressways and a $6,000 reward, family members say there have been no solid leads.
They are praying and thankful to the Fenton Police, and volunteers who have stepped forward to help them through their personal misery.
"I knew that the darkest moment of my life had just begun," said sister Naheda Jawhari.
The family doesn't want vengeance or revenge. They just want Randa. If you have any information, contact Fenton Police.
