Diane Pathieu joined ABC 7 Chicago, the Number One station in the market, ABC 7 as a reporter in December, 2011. She reports for the ABC 7 weekend morning newscasts.
When Pathieu was hired ABC 7 Vice President and News Director, Jennifer Graves said, "Diane is a solid reporter with great energy. She knows Chicago and is looking forward to working in her hometown."
Prior to joining ABC 7, Diane was a reporter/anchor at WTMJ4 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She reported for their morning show, "Live at Daybreak" and also served as anchor of "Live at Noon."
Before moving to Milwaukee, Diane was the morning reporter/midday anchor at KCRG-TV, the ABC affiliate in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She has also worked at KFXB-TV in Dubuque, Iowa and got her start at WMAQ-TV as a production assistant.
Diane is a native Chicagoan, born and raised in Rogers Park. She is a first-generation American; her family comes from Lebanon and Syria. Diane is a Columbia College graduate.
