Woman allegedly brings loaded gun to court

June 30, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A woman who allegedly brought a loaded gun into a Cook County courthouse was arrested on Monday and is being held on $100,000 bond.
Tammy Dobbin, 30, was arrested outside a courtroom at 32 W. Randolph St. where she was attending a hearing with her boyfriend.
Police said a sheriff's deputy found a 9mm handgun inside a black book bag belonging to Dobbin. According to authorities, the gun was loaded with 10 live rounds and was equipped with a laser pointer.
Dobbin, who has no known criminal history, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Her next court hearing is set for July 8.
